Xerox- Moshe Kenan, born 1968. Moshe was a DJ, managed two dance clubs in Tel-Aviv (Lem-Light & Turtle House) & hosted a music show on the radio called "Fantasia", where he discovered electronic music. Then he met DJ Eyal Yankovich who got him infected with the psychedelic trance virus. Moshe started to make trance music at 1995.Moshe also works with Itzik Benisti (AKA Cosmic Navigator) under the name Maskalin. He is also a partner in Hommega.
Freeman- Doron Kosovski, born 1973, was also a DJ till Moshe transferred the virus on to him, and he joined him and started to make trance music in 1997, first for a taste of experience, but later he just fell in love with the music, and decided to stick around.
The guys teamed up in 1997 and immediately earned the attention of the best DJs in Israel and abroad. They created their own style, which was widely influenced from the funk and groove of black music and into the core of electronic music, psychedelic hits forged with melodic tunes, and immense build ups. Their favorite influences include: Euro/80's, Funky/Soul, Techno/Acid House, Electronic music & Soundtracks of movies.
They released a lot of music together, on their own, and with other artists. Xerox released his own EP in 1997 in Krembo. In July 1998 they released their own album- The Human Race, and The Human Race EP (Balloonia). In September 1999 Xerox released his own album Freestyle, where he hosts Freeman and a lot of other artists. In May 2001 Moshe released together with Itzik Benisti the Maskalin album- Way of Life & a Way of Life 12" was released in Balloonia in October. In August 2002 Xerox released his second album- Frequency Drive in Hommega. Moshe also compiled In My Brain & 7 Eleven.
In 2003 after releasing a few co-operations with Illumination, they decided to make an album together and to make a whole new live act. The new Xerox & Illumination album Temporary Insanity- was released in Hommega in May 2004, and was accompanied by the Temporary Insanity EP, released through Kairoo. Lately they have also made a few co-operations with veteran artists such as Sandman, Chakra and Passenger.
