Kailum is Dave Saragosi, born in 1977. Dave, who is from Greek origins, lives Ramat-Gan. He started to make music in 1994 and his first release was Kailum with Moshe Kenan (Xerox) & Jeroen van Garling (Synchro, Z-to-A) on Israeli Psychedelic Trance vol. 1. Then he released Magnetic Fields as Prodenya with Dani Siboni on Israeli Psychedelic Trance vol. 2 (both on Phonokol). He had also some releases on compilations in the USA. Then Dave released Guarana remix on Ptzatzot (a track he personally thinks is embarrassing).
Dave worked also with DJ Goblin under the name Psysex and they released the 4 Days of Madness 12" on Krembo (The A side track was made in real 4 days of madness, and hence the name). This 12" turned to be Krembo's all time best seller in Europe! This track also appeared on Psychedelic Krembo vol. 4. He released the Kailum EP at Kaktus (A new sub-label of Krembo), this EP has two progressive house tracks (A. In the Houze; B. Binboniera). On Krembo's Filterd Reality he released the amazing Dig with O-fear.
In June 2000, after a long wait, the first Kailum solo album- Confusion- was released, also in Krembo.
Dave usually works on a track for 1-2 weeks. He also DJs from time to time playing night music, and mainly unreleased new stuff, to open the crowd ears and mind. |
