A second vinyl from Domo records, this time to celebrate the opening of their new label- VP (which stands for Very Progressive)- and amply named The VP EP.
On the A side we have a remix from BLT to Homer & Lazon's To the Unknown. Homer & Lazon are also known as Tegma, and the original is featured on VP's first compilation- Inspirazzia. The remix I like even better than the original. BLT takes the beautiful touching Goaish melody of the original and covers it with thick lush psychedelic atmosphere. Hypnotic, emotional and moving, the kind of trance that works from the heart, and gives me the mental picture of myself dancing in the pre-dawn light in some beautiful nature spot, with beautiful colorful naïve people, and tears of happiness in the corners of my eyes. So beautiful.
On the B side we get a totally different story- from another world, the Germans are here- and it's funky guitar electro disco trance time! Taken from Inspirazzia, Gero Bode and Okay Candan, deliver a guitarish funky tune, grabby groove, very very disco, very very musical, very very rock'n'roll, with nice warm popish vocals. Nice fresh tune for the ladies and others who like to shake their butts. |
