The third vinyl EP in a series of three based on the successful Full On 2 compilation from Hommega and also the best one.
A side is a party stormer from DJ Goblin (remixed by himself, Y. Oshrat and Domestic). Not very interesting but anyway this is a nice track. Yellow Dwarfs are the pleasant surprise of Full On 2 to me. This track, No Musician, starts with a nice Arab flute playing (sampled from Nafas, I believe) and some mysterious sounds and then it's guitar time. A very happy track with nice bouncing sounds and energy, accompanied by guitar reefs all along with a nice buildup in the end. A great sample that goes: "I am no musician, Andrei Alexandrovich, no musician". A very good track altogether, and again, happy is the main word for it. The P.Cok track is great! P.Cok are great. It's short, but means business. Full power!!! It starts with some electronic bees and then all hell breaks loose, powerful repeating melodic lines, non-stop pounding of bass and hi-hats changing tunes in the middle and coming back big time. And that amazing colossal build up in the end- whooo! This is one massive track. |
