A second 12" for the Double Impact guys, coming from Luna Music (Edi Mis's label) and preceding the upcoming album.
On the A side is the Impacts's best track that I heard so far. Genetic Syntetic is a totally psychotic track, with powerful drive, bouncy groove, great sounds from other dimensions and an ever-changing story line taking you through different changes and stages. This is one of these tracks that keep changing but somehow stays glued together and coherent. It's also a track that distorts time. And I love that flipping metal sheet kick. In short: A truly delicious one here, I just love it and didn't get tired of it after endless listening, I keep finding new things inside.
Naharia on the B-Side is something different- I don't really know why it is named after that small town in the north of Israel, but however it is something different. A weirdo low-tech sounding breaky hypnotic track with psychic sounds flying around and nice hi-hats games. Cute. |
