A new vinyl from Brain Bubbles, Golan Avramov, who's been a promise talked about a lot in the Israeli trance scene. Here Golan delivers for the first time and intensive psychedelic experience full of interest, in sounds and ideas.
The A-side, Scrambled Heads, is an energetic and hectic powerful tune that can find a good place in every set and every time. Always changing, psychedelic and melodic, full of surprises and twists, raw crunchiness and non-stop banging bass, oriental chants and electric squeaks- the new generation of Israeli psy-music packed with mind traveling sounds.
The B-side opens with Visual Aspect, very much in the style of Scrambled Heads but darker and more twisted. The powerful crunch bass drives you full of energy all along the track, going through dark spooky realms. Forces of Nature, the second track in B-side, is a disappointment, sound wise, and also construction wise, except for the end of the track which is very nice- this is an immature track and should have been left out- a remix based on the last 3 minutes can be nice. |
