Syndrome are Liran Boimel & Stav Zilbershtein, 18 years old, from Petach-Tikva in the center of Israel.
They started creating music around 1996-7 with cheap editors and without any musical background. As time passed they started listening to trance, and going to parties, learning more about trance and the culture around it. Their first track, Time out, was released on Ptzatzot 2.
In the beginning of 1998, after signing at Krembo Records, the guys started working on their first melodic album, Cold Fusion, which contains nine melodic tracks, each one has a gimmick. They consider their style to be very different from other Israeli trackers.
Now, they are working on a second CD, with "D-Zager" (Lior Zager) that is also known from several melodic trance collections. The musical direction is not clear yet , though there is a tendency towards a more psychedelic album. They do promise a much better sound, "thanks to some equipment and MUCH more knowledge and experience than before...". Release date, somewhere in the coming year. |
