| i'm with u goni....this is a very sad cd erez & amit probably think that production and sound is more important then psychoness and letting your spirit follow the tracks....i think they could have done mush better...and the freestyle cd....very disappointing i didnt expected to hear so mtv sound in traacks like i wish and blink....sad....but we will never forget the infected that once ruled the world of trance....
btw: astral just get better to my opinion amen realy fulfilled my excpectations sorry for my lame eng |

| EREZ & Duvdev, i know you don't read this so you won't get my review.. anyway just want to mention that the new album is not so great, sorry, great production level is not the most important thing, and like astral you will get down.. new talents will replace you.. but don't be unhappy.. we will always remmember the great moments when that 'voice' from Species 2 said "It's about time we infected them", or when Duvdev sang with a real meaning, when everybody shouted "psycho", when erez used his computer skills to compose really high quality level tracks.. and maybe when they will be really big mainstream pop stars (as they want).. i will say to a ten years old boy about the real Infected Mushroom about Bust A Move, Return Of The Shadows, Symphonatic, Psycho, The Missed Symphony, Unbalanced (Baby Killer Rmx), Never Ever Land, and over big great tracks and he will say me.. "ahh? infected? trance..? how this two things connected?"

| I would just like to say that infected will always have a special place in my soul, their old stuff is pure magic, and I admire them to be brave enough to always try and evolve. the true sign of two genious. | at first i was kinda disappointed with this album. Mostly because of the freestyle side, which was all new from IM. But everyday i begin to like this album more and more.
Freestyle side seems to scare people, as it scared me at first, but after some time i've found out it's a real piece of art. Nothing wrong with it, fine experimental and chillout tracks. The psy-side is also more than fine. Deeply Disturbed rocks my world! |

| Not bad, but not great. There are excellent stand out tracks, like "Scorpion Frog" and "Elation Station", but many lack something of interest. On the "trance side", many tracks feel uninspired and dull, as if more energy went into the "other side". But on that side, most of the songs are stuck somewhere inbetween POP and psytrance. Not fun and catchy enough for a POP hit, and not hard and trippy enough to be psy. |

| Infected Mushroom have once again taken this scene to another level, andif you cannot see it then I feel so sorry for you. If you have heard what they said themeselves, yes this release does have a fair bit of commercial quality to it and it is not a new Classical album, they have done what they do every time, release an album of different music. This album is a gem, and Unfected Mushroom for me write the most impressive and bnoundary pushing trnac,e much better than the generic Astrix/Alien Project style we are always hearing! |

| Well, well, well...
Um, the first CD is strange. There is no other word for it. Maybe they are trying to experiment new styles and rhytms, but it really doesn't work, noooo way. Now the other CD is better, but the INSANE lyrics on "Converting Vegetarians" disturb me. "Elation Station" is maybe the best song on this double CD. It's relaxing and soothing, a number one. I think the first CD is quite useless, something to be thrown to garbage, or given to a friend. Now the second CD... Keep it. Listen to it. Love it. 7― /10 |

| I didn't listen to the new cd that much, but the little I listened to looked like there was something missing. There are great tracks, but I think the music looks a little old I think they could get better effects from the equipment, the sinths were not explored to the bones...
I'm kind of disapointed with this new album, but whoever seen they play live knows that IM can melt minds to the bones!! |

| When IM plays live, its awesome, they don't play this stuff live. They stick with the old stuff that makes everyone go insane. Anyway,
There are very few tracks on this CD that's even listenable. Anyone that was there to celebrate IM into psytrance scene will agree. I loved it when we all went out looking for "The Gathering" and no CD store had it! It took me a month of almost daily search to find that CD. And I did it because I loved IM. I wouldn't bother leaving my couch for some crap like Converting Vegitarians. I don't mind IM being mainstream or not, the problom is, there's no emotion left in this CD. Not only is there no Infected emotions, there's almost none at all. This CD made me go numb. These guys don't want the same fans that would go any length to get IM tracks anymore. I guess all I can say is Infected Mushroom was a truly great project, I wish Eizen and Duvdev left it alone to keep making Infected Tracks. R.I.P Infected, you stole my mind and heart and threw it in a blender. P.S. If Erez and Duvdev called this something else I'd still be happy, why oh why did you label it IM? GMS made Zorba, couldn't you guys do something like that? |

| I dont know what all this crying is about, but I have never really like IM, they are good musicans, engineers and producers but their music sucks. CV is another crappy album with no feel, the tracks are all over the place. Popular or not, these tracks wont be played by any Dj worth his coin. Its not psytrance, its not clubtrance and not techtrance either. This Cd really belongs in a miscellanous electronic bin. I honestly cannot see how anyone can enjoy this. I saw erez and duvdev live years ago and they didnt do it for me then and they are not doing it now either. And yes they will fall in the same trap that AP has fallen into-if you cannot keep up with the times, create fresh tracks that blow people's head off on the dancefloor you will wind up in the dustbin of forgotten history. |

| Listening to this album makes me remember Infected has much to do with why I listen to psy in the first place. They have a trajectory, this is not their classical sound, nor it should be. It's very sad to see reactionary, squared people, conservateurs in trance scene! Trying to keep things as it was... Don't u remember that this kind of atittude is what makes it harder for us all. Aren't u freaks just like the rest of us (Including Duvdev n Erez). Listen to the sound and learn the lesson...

| I can't understand the negative reviews. For me this is the best work Infected have ever done. I started listening to them with The Gathering and they have gotten better with every album. Some of the people who put this album down are really pathetic. It is obvious they are motivated by more than an honest and sincere dislike for this album. And such arrogance coming from some of these people. For example mike says above that no real dj would play this stuff and that it has no feeling, that Infected don't blow peoples head off on the dance floor, bla, bla, bla...What arrogance mike. If you don't like it, nobody is forcing you to listen to it, but saying things like that is just plain ignorant. I know lots of Djs that play Infected tracks and they always work really well on the dance floor. As to there being no feeling in their music, well that is just absurd, | get some of my strongest feelings from Infected's music and many, many people feel the same way. If you don't feel it, too bad for you. Some people say that they don't play this newer material when they perform...like hell they don't. They play this stuff and they tear the place apart; everybody goes mental and is dancing like mad. Have you guys ever seen Infected live? If you have, you should know what I'm talking about. Anyway, I'm sorry to go on like that but some of these people write some of the most foolish, absurd comments. It's one thing to say it doesn't do it for you, which is hard for me to believe, but saying things like Infected suck and that they are going to end up in the dustbin of forgotten history is really very childish. Anyway, like I already said this album is the pinacle for Infected Mushroom. After listening to the Trance side I was already of the opinion that this is their best album to date but when I listened to the other side I was blown away. Some of the most unique and moving music that I have ever heard. What I have come to respect about Infected Mushroom, besides their amazing talent and creativity, is that they always have forged their own way. They don't try to follow the trends in the scene and they certainly don't copy the formulas that so many other artists seem to follow. This is fresh music and it is truly good music. The trance side contains every fundamental aspect of what makes Infected's music good but also many new ideas and some creative surprises. I can't honestly say that there is even one song on the trance side that I don't like. In fact, I love every one of them. I like the variety of what is on offer here. We have lots of very melodic songs like Albibeno, Song Pong, Echonomix and Yanko Pitch. We also have a few that are a little more on the stomping minimal side like Hush Mail and Apogiffa Night. Then we got songs with guitars and violins such as Scorpion Frog and Deeply Disturbed. Besides being highly entertaining ear-candy, all of these songs are excellent dance material. Awesome grooves along with creative, emotive soundscapes. I couldn't have asked for more. The Oher Side is just as amazing,if not more amazing, than the trance side. It would be hard to overstate just how good this music is. Fianally we get to hear more music from the mushies in the same vain as the awesome "Dancing With Kadafi" from the B.P. Empire album. Every song seems inspired and is literally bursting with their imagination and talent. 4 of the songs are vocal tracks, but don't let that put you off. They are very well done and they are all done with that special Infected touch. I would love to hear more songs like these in future Infected Mushroom albums. Some of the other songs also contain vocals but the vocals are more sparse in these songs. The Other Side is a mindblowing collage of kaleidoscopic sounds and feelings. Very hard to describe; something that must be experienced. As much as I liked this album the first few times I listened to it, I am happy to say that it just keeps getting better and better. 23 songs and every one of them exceptionally good. That can be said of very few albums. Infected Mushroom have created something legendary; a true masterpiece. Enjoy! See you on the dance floor.

IM are GREAT musicians, they can't to the same stuff all the time... yeah, i gotta admit that i liked Cllasical Musahroom more than the Trance CD on CV but still, some great trcks: albebino, hush mail, scorpion frog, yankopitch(!!!), i'll give it:8.5/10 now, the "Freestyle" CD... awsome work, shows all the talent... ballerium, pltzturra, selecta, elevation, jeenje, elation station BUT(!!!) the vocal track were ... ehhh... not so good, blink is nice but the othere too were pretty weak. i'll give it:9.5/10 overall:great great great work, the "old" kick is missing(Chaplin cick-wtf???), but the "Other Side" is just... ahhhhhhh |

| well the second cd has got a great production indeed the tracks r good too except track 1 which is not the kind of intro i would expect infected to use....the first cd has got its killer track 4,6,1,8,10 are brilliant but im sorry to say the rest sounds like they were short of material for the first cd....not to compare with classical mushroom for sure, if u listen to it in 10 years time im sure it'll be like listening to it the first time.....timeless!!......but its different with converting vegeterians |

| Didn't like it at first because it didn't sound *infected*, but it started to grow on me and now I think it's great.
Sure, it's not the Mushies as we knew them. It's something new and innovating. Some of the tracks are more mainstream, but some truly are not. I think it's way easier to like and understand Classical Mushroom than Converting Vegetarians. So if you didn't like it at first, give it another listen! |

| I don't see why so many people are dissing this album, saying that it has a MTV sound to it. I don't know what MTV sounds like in Israel, but it's not like this in the US. If only it were, I'd probably actually watch that network for once.
This album is a true epic! It really shows how IM has evolved over the years. The songs are far more advanced than the earlier works while still holding the same, if not improved psychedelic qualities. The 2nd disc, commonly referred to as the freestyle disc, is simply amazing! Psychedelic, but not trancey. I have never heard anything so beautiful in my life, and probably never will again, as nothing can match what this is! I've been listening to Infected Mushroom since Classical Mushroom and own every full album. This is definitely my favorite one, and needless to say, I'll be looking forward to their future works. As for everyone who continues to give this album negative reviews, all I have to say is, "GET WITH THE #*&(& TIMES!!!" Cut the arrogant comments about how much it sucks. Understand that Erez and Duvdev are the artists here, not you! If they want to go deeper into their music, then by all means, let them do it. If you don't like it, nobody is forcing you to listen. |

| Well... I think that infected did't really care about the trance side while they were producing converting vegeterians. Trance Side: This cd is very good. More work needed in this side and it would have been the best IM's CD but... Theother Side: Not my style.Ifindmost of the tracks "old-fashioned"althought there are and good ones such as Converting Vegetians,Elation Station And Pletzturra. I think IM will not succed in this kind of music because there are many more artists that play better music (of this style). Infected mushroom still is my favourite band thought beacause of albums like B.P.Empire and Classical Mushroom (especially the first one). |

| Well, this album isn't as great as Classical Mushroom, but still good i think. But mainly ... the sounds are great, as usual, and the production ... just love it. I still remember when I first heard IM. It was on the web-station Digitally Imoported (http://www.di.fm) and i tought WTF!!! This sounds just great, but I missed to write down the name of the group and the name of the song, so it took some work to look it up. But it was surly worth it. The song DI played was "The Shen". That track ROCKS!!!

| One thing that I need to mention, after reading all of the reviews ( in particular the negative ones ) is that you should SHUT UP.
IM should be respected for what they have achieved so far, and if you critics can do ANY better ..... then be my guest and TRY and kick IM's ass. People that are so critical about other peoples music when they don't even have any conceivable skill to create anything remotely close to this, should have their heads examined. Bottom line is .... these guys deserve your respect, so please try and be a bit more humble when posting your "reviews" of this album. BOOM ! |

| I've only heard a few songs, my favourites being 'Bust A Move', 'Tomy the Bat', and a bunch of others I never found the names of, yet when I bought this album, I was disappointed. The whole point of this kind of music is the psychonessss. I wouldn't put Astral over Infected, though I gotta admit they're doing a lot better at the moment. |

| ooooooo, i see that there is some poeple aint liking this cd, i have to admit that they aint wrong, this album is not the best, lol, not at all, few good songs(albibeno, song pong, maybe yanko pitch, shakakaw!DUH! ehhhh, apogiffa night(strange, big drumm, i like it!, what else... pletzurra, deeply disturbed, elation station, echonomix, thats it!!! 9 good songs out of 23, well, the other side not even close to anything i ever heard, soem good songs, but not enough for me to considerate this OTHER side, for me shpongle rocks lot better in term of chill ambiance(and when your on mushroom, shpongles the best), trance side, correct, only correct, but could be a LOT better, im a big fan of infected mushroom, i know ther song by heart, from the gathering to bp, thers are the best, but now, with cv, u should return to maybe not old stuff, but something near od stuff, but in your new crazy, deeply disturbing kind of way! Love!infected!mushroom!for!life! |

| I was Infected about 2 years ago.
I evolved from producing solely funk, R&B and Acid-Jazz styles to GOA and Euro-Trance as well, and it was basically IM who got me into GOA in the first place. I only recently heard CV, as i only had the older albums, and i never really thought Infected could make another amazing song. But they have surpassed my expectations yet again! The first CD is mindblowing in terms of musicality and production values alike, and while the second CD can be a little cheezy, it still is great to see IM merging into more "Shpongleish" territory. Please keep pumpin those phat basslines and hardcore hi-hat rhythms IM and ill stay infected..:) |

R.i.P infected you said, hu? well, i'm writing this post half a year after releasing IM the supervisor and, well, i'm pretty much live.. and admired and.. will be rememebred long after most of the artists that you like so much, cus Infected had style.. their own unique style. and btw, this album is good, trance is nice but the other side is amazing |
