Another Psyvibes, and another good one, that is if you’re looking for Psytrance dancefloor hits. It seems though that Trust in Trance’s try to combine their own music with what goes on in Europe fails. Both Astral & Thrilithon’s track and the Neptune track just don’t fit in here. The remix for Next Stop Oblivion just proves that some things should be left as they are, it’s nice, but not an interpretation that adds something really new. SUN Project are represented with one of their better tracks from the last year, non-guitar stuff. Atmos’s track is good as to be expected, but he’s done much better, and it already feels like a formula. Purple & Lunar with another mix for Subtle Thrust- this track is one of the best to be released in 2000. Astral & Thrilliton just sound the same again, and don’t do it for me. Mumbo Jumbo with a brilliant piece, I love this one, beats and rhythms. Neptune show some potential for interesting and genuine madness, but try too much and pack too much into one track, and their oriental melody section is kind of overused, and could have been dropped (Erez Eizen did it better 4 years ago). Matenda with another nice track, though Fjaka in Floor is better, this one is a bit too obvious. Slide is king here with a great slow massive piece with a hypnotic story defining a new space and time- just dive inside this track.
Bottom line- if you don’t have these tracks, or not familiar with other releases of these artists, this is a good buy, though it has some weak points
