I'm listening to it while writing this... One of the best cd's I ever heard. Bust a move is the track most played in out school parties :) Dracul is also cool and Mush Mushi gives a more psychedelic feel (kinda like Man With No Name) to the album.
Bottom line: I love it :)

I just wanna say thanx for this album. In some way this album better than the first, it has more melody, what I really love, and it has the wicked and subwoofer killer IM bassline :)
I think Infecteds are in the pantheon of psy trance gods. They give many many great, happy hour to the partypeople and inspiration when working :) I hope they ll be perform at BOOM.

This album stretches the meaning of melody in trance and brings it to a new hight. From the very first sound of Bust A Move (T1) till the very last bar of The Missed Synphony (T9) the melody never stops. This is a very emotional piece of music with a very distinctive sound and background and it does not bore you for a minute. Just when you think that the melody has gone too far for too long - a perfect beat break happens and the track comes to life again. This happens track after track for the entire length of this amazing album and this is very addictive stuff indeed. I know some people that cannot go through the day without listening to it :)
The clasical tunes filled with harmonies and uncarectaristic elements (acoustic guitars, live pianos), perfectly timed breaks and build ups, the smart FX dialoges and funky base lines, all make this CD into a very memorable journey.

Upon this albums release I scoffed at the idea of classical instruments being used in psy trance and expected one goofy and tasteless album...then I bought it....and it is just one DAMN fine release (and different then I originally thought it would be layed out). Each track (cept 02 which is a real bomb) is something in itself with so much in it and just SO much to hear in every track and so much to appreciate. I bought it before I bought The Gathering, and The Gathering is NO match compared to this peice. This CD will always come to mind as an all time favorite of mine amongst my collection.

I bought CM around a month ago, and can't get tired of listening to it. Simply amazing. Last week, i decided to buy TG. Great album too, but CM is way better. I hope the next album follows this exponential growth on quality, it will be a real bomb!
An all time favorite, i recomend it to *everyone*.
BTW, i don't think IM will perform at BOOM.. as a portuguese, i can only say "shame on you IM!" :))

I recently purchased CM after hearing some mp3s of the gathering. I hate to download music, but its the only real way to hear new music in the USA. The sound that Infected has is INCREDIBLE. Infact ive been a trance fan for years, and i have NEVER heard anything even close to as good as this. Classical mushroom takes me on a metamorphic and psylocybical journey that i have never experienced before. As a classical guitar / epic metal fan, the fusion of music mystifies me. The beats are erratic yet perfectly metered, and the samples are crystaline and etherial. I just wish i could see you guys live! WOW. I bought a tsunami compilation cd today, its awesome. If more people in the United States heard your stuff you'd be the top in techno music here. Classical Mushroom is imaginative, deep, and can make your trip soar. Five stars to Infected Mushroom, the best psytrance group ever!!

MAYBE I AM THE STRANGE ONE HERE BUT I DO THINK THAT THEH FIRST CD WAS MUCH MUCH BETTER AND I WAS DISAPOINTED VERY MUCH BECAUSE IT IS NOT SO TRANCE FOR ME NOT REAL PSYCEDILIC SHIT LIKE RETURN OF THE SHA... IN CD 1 OR VIRTUAL VOYAGE OR PSYCO
THE SECOND 1 HAS TOO MANY PIANO SAMPLES LESS SCRATCHY TOO MANY MELODIES WHICH DOESN'T COME TOGETHER WITH THE OTHER SOUNDS.
THERE ARE FEW LIGHT SPOTS LIKE T2 AND T5 AND T8 WHICH ARE NICE .
TO CONCLUDE CD 1 IS ONE OF THE BEST I HEARD PURE PSYCO SECONDD IS NICE BUT MUCH LESS LOOKING FOR THE 3RD...

Classical Mushroom has affected the figure of trance. Any suspicious about this music has changed their mind after hearing this tracks. I think of using the first track for an exercise of morphological analysis e.t.c. in my school of music technology and acoustics in greece.

Best IM album, no doubt about that. With 9 long and GREAT tracks IM is making NOISE.
